- Today, 21 September 2022, the Executive of the Union resolved to alter the Rules of the Union.

- The proposed alterations to the Rules include a proposal to alter the name of the Union (Rule 1) and to the qualification of persons for membership (Rule 3).
- It is proposed to make two applications to the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) to approve the proposed alterations to the Rules. One application will be made in relation to the proposal to alter Rules 1 and 3 and another application for the remaining proposed alterations to the Rules.
- Members may object to the proposal to alter the rules (other than the proposal to alter Rules 1 and 3) by forwarding an objection to the Registrar of the WAIRC within 21 days of the date of this notice.
- Members may object to the proposal to alter Rules 1 and 3 by lodging a written objection in the approved form to the Registrar of the WAIRC within 21 days of the publication of the application to alter Rules 1 and 3.
